While none of the books in these shorter canons are bad at all, and many of the translations are quite good, this is somewhat unfortunate for those of us who are Orthodox, who wish also to study those books which our canons of scripture include, which the Protestant and Catholic canons do not. This book attempts to fill that gap, by providing the missing texts. The texts are taken from the King James Version and the Brenton translation.
