From two-time National Book Award finalist Deborah Wiles, the remarkable story of two cousins who must take a road trip across American in 1969 in order to let a teen know he's been drafted to fight in Vietnam. Full of photos, music, and figures of the time, this is the masterful story of what it's like to be young and American in troubled times. It's 1969. Molly is a girl who's not sure she can feel anything anymore, because life sometimes hurts way too much. Her brother Barry ran away after having a fight with their father over the war in Vietnam. Now Barry's been drafted into that war - and Molly's mother tells her she has to travel across the country in an old schoolbus to find Barry and bring him home. Norman is Molly's slightly older cousin, who drives the old schoolbus. He's a drummer who wants to find his own music out in the world - because then he might not be the normal Norman that he fears he's become. He's not sure about this trip across the country . . . but his own mother makes it clear he doesn't have a choice. Molly and Norman get on the bus - and end up seeing a lot more of America that they'd ever imagined. From protests and parades to roaring races and rock n' roll, the cousins make their way to Barry in San Francisco, not really knowing what they'll find when they get there. As she did in her other epic novels Countdown and Revolution, two-time National Book Award finalist Deborah Wiles takes the pulse of an era . . . and finds the multitude of heartbeats that lie beneath it.

Forget about the memory foam!
Size: Twin 3 Inches
My sleep quality is fantastic on this thing, and I don’t even sweat like a memory foam cover! I was scared to spend the money but I’m glad I did! It’s really helped my back and overall pain, as it rises to fit the empty spaces left by flat firm mattresses.

Pretty Good
Size: Queen
The product arrived at my street address instead of my PO Box address last minute - without me getting prior notice that it was to large to be delivered to post office. Not sure why the seller did not notify me and let me know what was happening. The quality of the latex topper itself is good, covering nice with a zipper to take off and wash. There was no smell after about 5 minutes of coming out of the packaging. I am using it as extra padding for a new mattress which is pretty firm. After sleeping on it last night it helped just enough - perhaps someone who needs a little more cushioning should get the 3" topper version.

Soft and comfortable.
Size: King 3 Inches
The packaging was big and heavy and required 2 persons to move. The pad is soft and very comfortable. The latex had a bit of smell, but not too bad. Overall I am satisfied with the product.

Inaccurate
Size: Queen, Size: Queen
It was advertised as having an organic cotton cover, it came in a polyester cover. I thought because of the name “Talatex” that it was talalay latex, it is too firm to be talalay though. It’s a decent firm latex topper with a cover, but overall I feel it was deceptive inaccurate advertising.

Great mattress
I bought a Saatva that gave me horrid back pain because I’m plus-sized and a stomach sleeper. I started floor sleeping to rectify it, and I love this. I put it on a thick workout mat, and topped it with a folded mattress topper. I sleep well. Sometimes I sleep too well.
