This innovative single-device approach is crafted to minimize the chances of infection and trauma that often come with using two separate catheters. The optional FLUSHING STYLET allows for flushing during insertion. The adjustable new suture device permits length modifications. This product enhances the conventional Tomcat, Jackson, and Slippery Sam™ urinary catheters. Made from non-irritating, radiopaque polyurethane, it is designed to be rigid for straightforward insertion while softening to body temperature for indwelling use. It features a finished open tip and a Luer lock for secure connection to a CLOSED COLLECTION SYSTEM (refer to "Urinary Collection Closed System"). With a length of 25cm, it offers optimal flexibility in catheter placement, enabling the collection bag connector to be securely attached at the cat's tail or back, which helps to reduce catheter tension at the prepuce during movement.
