Grotta Sonora created their Deep Series with a deeper, thicker rim than their other styles. The presence of a prominent rim helps to focus and accentuate the overall sound of the gong, creating a deep, focused fundamental tone with long sustain and strong presence.
Each gong in their line of Deep gongs has its own, unique etching and design. Each gong is not only beautiful in sound, but stands on its own as a work of visual art.
Grotta Sonora gongs are made from an alloy with a high presence of nickel mixed with stainless steel.
