Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Patrick Park returns with a new full-length, Here/Gone. For Here/Gone, Park tapped producer Rob Schnapf (Beck, Kurt Vile, Elliott Smith) for the first time since 2007's acclaimed Everyone's in Everyone, and the pair distilled Park's introspective folk songs to classic voice and guitar combinations highlighted with string arrangements by Bobby Halvorson (Van Dyke Parks). With the sparse production allowing Park's lyrics to remain front-and-center, the tracks on Here/Gone materialize as letters to his newborn son and aural reckonings with the brevity of life. Rolling Stone Country calls the lead single, "Everything Falls Apart," "an Elliott Smith-worthy folksong." Additionally, Billboard recently premiered album standout, "Love Lover Love," which features guest vocals from Warpaint's Emily Kokal and was recently featured as KCRW's Today's Top Tune.

High quality and fits well, I just wish the magnets were a little stronger

It looks modern and stylish. The funnel fits my 51mm portafilter very well and does stay put if you're careful inverting it. It's solidly built and feels durable. It greatly helps keep the countertop tidy and allows me to use a large dose before tamping. The one improvement I would ask for is slightly stronger magnets that would hold more securely when I invert it. I tried to place it over the cup of grounds, and the funnel slipped off when I flipped them back over. It kinda works, you just have to be super careful. Better to just pour the grounds into it.

Great for Breville 54mm baskets!

Well made and a great design. After having tried another big brand distributor that didn’t work well for me, I found this one that works perfectly with Breville 54mm double walled baskets. It offers a minimal adjustment I was needing to evenly distribute without hard pressing before the tamp.

Using Normcore Tamper

This tamper is very easy to use and has a perfect weight thanks to the stainless steel build. It evenly tamps the espresso puck, and the 53.3mm fit works flawlessly with my Breville Espresso machine. The puck prep I’m able to achieve has noticeably improved the taste of my espresso. The sleek design is modern, durable, and looks great on my coffee bar.
