Information about the Artist: Carla was born in Rome on April 23, 1998. From childhood, she nurtured a strong artistic vocation and a passion for fashion, experimenting through painting, writing, and even cutting clothes in search of her creative path.

The decisive spark came in 2019 while studying fashion in Rome. Inspired by her family’s collection of vintage luxury handbags, she began designing flowers—starting with roses—and soon taught herself modeling techniques to bring her vision to life.

Her work unites her two lifelong loves: handbags and flowers, nature’s most delicate yet fleeting gift. A handbag collector since childhood, Carla was captivated by their forms, details, and symbolism, developing a romantic pop style influenced by the early 2000s. Flowers, ever-present in her family’s life, became her way of capturing beauty and emotion.

Carla’s creations freeze time, making the ephemeral eternal. Each handbag-flower hybrid is housed in a unique box, transforming it into a story—unrepeatable, precious, and timeless.

I really love Nedra Glover Tawwab's work. I started with "Set Boundaries, Find Peace" and that opened the gateway to a broader and more helpful healing journey for me. This book, "Drama Fee" was just an evolutionary step in her series and a more in depth dealing with family relationships. The different perspectives for each chapter on how the concept can be applied was/is helpful as it often feels like books of this nature are only telling the black or white way to focus on a relationship. I felt seen and heard that though my familial relationships are unique there are commonalities and in turn ways to approach healing, reconciliation (with oneself and with family), understanding and compassion, to a achieve drama free relationships. As humans we are bread for connection and I appreciate Nedra Glover Tawwab's help in navigating them.
