She was at the forefront of the civil rights movement in the 1960's, as singer for the legendary gospel group, The Staples Singers. Mavis, along with her father, Pops, and siblings marched and worked alongside Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr on the fight for equality in this country. In December 2016, Mavis went to Washington, DC to receive the coveted Kennedy Center Honors from President Obama, with whom she has had a long standing friendship. Mavis invited Wilco frontman and dear friend, Jeff Tweedy as her guest for the weekend's festivities. The two spent hours discussing the current events and how today's fight for equality is very similar to those in the 60's. Inspired by these events, Mavis and Jeff got together and wrote Mavis' new album, If All I Was Was Black, produced by Jeff Tweedy. The new album is a perfect message for our time and is by far Mavis' best work to date.

Not bad

It’s a cool charger. It seems to work as advertised, as in it trickle charges when needed or pushes the power hard when you need it. The only complaint I have is the animation lasts a little long and there seems to be no way to manually turn it off when you want to. When plugging in my phone at night, it’s annoying to have that much light for so long when trying to sleep. That all said, I’d buy it again if this one failed, I do like it, just that one annoying thing.

Best laptop sleeve on the market — and I've tried plenty!

As someone who reviews products regularly, I have pretty high standards and I don't hand out 5 stars easily. But this MOSISO sleeve? Completely earned it. I've tested a lot of laptop cases over the years and this one genuinely stands out from the crowd.
The quality is immediately noticeable right out of the box — the material feels premium, looks sleek, and has held up flawlessly through heavy daily use. No pilling, no wear, no disappointment.
The fit on my 13-inch MacBook is perfect. Snug without being tight, and sliding the laptop in and out is effortless every time. The zipper is smooth, the padding is substantial, and it slips into my bag without adding unnecessary bulk. I've gotten multiple compliments carrying it around at coffee shops and the office.
I also accidentally knocked my bag off a chair recently and my MacBook came out completely fine — so the protection is definitely real and not just marketing fluff.
For the price point, the value here is genuinely hard to beat. I've reviewed sleeves twice the cost that don't come close to this level of quality and finish. MOSISO really delivered with this one. If you're on the fence, trust me as someone who does this regularly — it's absolutely worth it.

I purchased this item on April 12, 2026 and received it on April 16, 2026. It is just PERFECT!! The right size, the color teal is just awesome looking, the quality of the material is strong and durable, the lining inside is well padded to protect the laptop, the zipper glides easily and very strong. The pocket outside has ample room to put miscellaneous items. I love it and I love it!!!! Go for it! It is worth the money.
