The Cydonian Hypothesis is the hypothesis, that Mars, the home of a long lived biosphere similar in scope and diversity to that of Earth, and that out of this biosphere evolved an indigenous humanoid race, termed Cydonians, that constructed large monuments similar to those constructed by Old Kingdom Egypt.
The Cydonian Duo - Mallet Combo includes a range of mallets, sized specifically for 18" to 32" gongs, meant to draw out the full range of sounds and subtleties these types of gongs can offer. Read about each of the mallets included below to find what each one provides.
Play a pair of Space Grapes Mallets and make your gong sound like sparking wine bubbling during a Gamma Ray burst. Play them light on a large gong and bring out the delightful higher tones gently. Roll them with some force on a gong and find unique builds. They are also great on larger singing bowls too. The softness of the fabric controls the tones from the smaller surface area of these mallets.
With a small-hard yarn-wrapped head and sturdy wooden handle, the Epic Vintage Gong Mallet provides fast attack. With a gentle tap, it will bring you clean, deep notes with fast response. When played harder on larger gongs, you will discover pockets of bright overtones that expand over the top of the deep fundamental note.
