Iron Orchid Design Transfers are easy to use and add instant style to your projects. They are delicate and need gentle handling but the results are stunning. Prep is key - keep your IOD Decor Transfer with its backing sheet until you're ready to use. Keep free of dust and debris which will interfere with adhesion. Don't allow the transfer to touch anything before application or allow the sticky side touch itself. Don't store in humid conditions or extreme temperatures. Application - start with a clean matte surface. If painted, make sure the paint has fully cured before you start. Seal your project with a water based sealer before application. Remove the Iron Orchid Designs Decor Transfer from its backing and place in position - you can use pieces of low tack tape to hold it in place. Using the plastic tool provided rub the image to stick it to the surface. If any parts haven't stuck simply place the transfer back into position and rub again. You can use your hand, a lint free cloth or the transfer's backing paper to burnish the transfer after application to ensure it is firmly stuck in place. Seal with a good quality water based sealer like Frenchic Finishing Coat.
