The VOLCANO HYBRID is Storz & Bickel's flagship desktop dry herb vaporizer, built in Germany using medical-grade materials and convection heating. It supports two distinct inhalation methods: the classic EASY VALVE Balloon system, which fills a bag you detach and draw from, and a direct-draw Tube Kit for an immediate, connected pull. Both are included in the box, so you're not choosing one or the other at checkout.
Control is handled through a touchscreen interface with precise temperature adjustment. Heat-up takes 1 to 2 minutes. For Android users, the S&B app adds remote control and deeper customization over temperature and airflow settings. Convection heating pulls air through the herb rather than cooking it from below, which gives you more consistent extraction across the fill.
The HYBRID ships with everything needed to get started: four EASY VALVE balloons (three standard, one with adapter), the Tube Kit, a filling chamber with cap ring and screen set, a cleaning brush, an air filter set, and a 55 mm herb mill. Warranty coverage is 2 years standard, extended to 3 years when you register the device with Storz & Bickel.

- The balloon and tube inhalation methods serve different preferences: balloons let you fill and draw at your own pace; the tube delivers vapor directly as the unit runs.
- App control is Android-only. Temperature and session settings can still be adjusted manually via the touchscreen on any setup.
- Registering the device with Storz & Bickel extends the standard 2-year warranty to 3 years at no extra cost.
- Replacement EASY VALVE balloons, screens, and other consumables are available separately as standard Storz & Bickel accessories.
