FAQs
You can use most organic face oils and serums twice a day, but it's always best to check the instructions. Apply a few drops to your face and neck in the morning after cleansing and before your moisturiser, and then again in the evening, in place of a night cream.
An organic face oil can offer anti-aging benefits when it is formulated with the right ingredients. Look for antioxidant and fatty acid rich ingredients like pomegranate oil, argan oil, and white tea oil which can help fight against premature aging and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
An organic facial oil is made without potentially toxic chemicals, is free from genetically modified organisms, and contains up to 60% higher levels of antioxidants. By using an organic face oil, you ensure your skin's health and help support the environment.
KEY INGREDIENTS
Pomegranate oil is abundant in punicic acid (also known as Omega 5), the only known botanical source for this rare essential fatty acid. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties and is a good antioxidant to tackle free radicals and delay skin ageing.
Famous for its wrinkle-reducing superpowers, frankincense oil stimulates cell regeneration and protects older cells from free radical damage thanks to its cytophylatic properties.
Patchouli leaf oil helps tone and firm skin, slowing the signs of ageing by reducing the appearance of fine lines and blemishes for a vibrant, glowing, and smooth complexion.
Mood boosting Neroli essential oil replenishes skin and locks in moisture. Its skin–reviving properties will boost and rejuvenate complexion. Thanks to its purifying citrus properties, it makes a great cleanser.
Reviving sweet orange essential oil helps reduce dark spots and blemishes, boosts circulation, promotes cell growth and collagen synthesis and fights off free radicals.
Antioxidant-rich white tea oil helps eliminate free radicals that can lead to signs of premature ageing including pigmentation and wrinkles. The anti-inflammatory properties can also help reduce redness and inflammation.
Rejuvenating jojoba oil has a variety of healing properties to soothe skin and help treat and prevent acne, eczema, and psoriasis.
Ideal for all skin types, argan oil contains a rich blend of omega fatty acids, vitamin E, and linoleic acids, which all work in harmony to moisturise skin, soften dry patches, and reduce acne.

Fantastic art book. As good as the first one.
I love the Airbender animation series. I can still remember the strong nostalgia I had while watching the first episode of The Legend of Korra: Book 1 Air, recalling all the characters from the previous series, and watch how time has passed and given us a new generation to look upon.
The Legend of Korra: Book 1 - Air, The Art of the Animated Series is a nice addition to that experience. It's as good as the first art book
.
The cover art is different from the original product image. It has Korra looking rather too serious.
The book features development art from all the 12 episodes in Book One: Air. There are designs for the main characters, followed by the Republic City and its inhabitants and then we have art from each episode in order.
Character designs form the bulk of the book. There's Korra in different outfits, including those from Pro-bending gear, and also the cute four-year-old Korra. There are lots of line art and also coloured versions for the characters. Other characters are Tenzin and his family, Lin Beifong, Amon, Katara, and about most of the characters that appear in the episodes.
The environment art are beautiful. The buildings and sets have a mix of oriental, industrial and European style. The world has changed since Aang was the Avatar. You'll see some connection to the past, for example, with Avatar Aang Memorial Island. Overall, the world feels very different because it has evolved. My favourite piece is the aerial painting of Air Temple Island that appears towards the end.
The last few pages have some pretty cool miscellaneous art, such as the classic Avatar characters in their adult form, and also other characters drawn in non-animation style.
Throughout the book, commentary is provided by creators Michael Dante DiMartino, Bryan Konietzko and director Joaquin Dos Santos. They give illuminating insight to the designs and stories.
Highly recommended to fans of the series, and those who like animation or character art.
It's one of my 2013 favourite artbooks.

Great companion book to a great "Book One!"
I really like that the creators have been so heavily involved in the comics and art books from Dark Horse, and as such, I want to own all of them after looking at this gem!
The artwork is beautiful, and it's awesome reading little anecdotes from the series creators. Did you know that polar bear dogs are feared by the Water Tribes, but Korra met a lost cub when she was little and now she has Naga!? All of the notes add to the universe of the series and make you feel involved in the show. As a fan of the original series, I'm now a little older and can really appreciate the work that goes into entertaining people, so this book is exceptional at presenting that feeling.
The book is separated into a few sections, focusing on early development, each episode of the first season, and extra artwork created for promotion such as the DVD cover. I love being able to look at the concept art and notes and then watch the series at home. I highly recommend grabbing the Blu-ray version of the series. It has audio commentaries for each episode, so you are really being thrown into the universe of The Legend of Korra!
I highly recommend to everyone who is a fan of the series!

BEST ART BOOK (GREAT GIFT FOR Legend Of Korra FANS)
It is a beautiful book. It was everything I hoped for, but it was bigger than I expected. (I didn't see the measurements/size...oops) The artwork inside is incredible, the detail and effort that was put into this book is amazing. I am a huge Legend of Korra fan, so I was a little nervous when I bought the book. I had my doubts but when received it I was so pleased with it. I could not be happier with this book. I highly recommend this book to anyone considering it to either give to a friend or to buy for personal use.
