The Load pin from Straightpoint is designed for use in applications where an end of line load cell cannot be used and an integrated solution is required.
Majority of the time the Load pins are used as a customized solution, The Load Pins are made of high quality tensile stainless steel and are normally supplied complete with an anti-rotation plate as a cabled or wireless solution. The load pins are built to withstand some of the harshest environments in industries such as offshore oil and gas and marine environments, they are suitable for use in exposed situations and can be supplied to withstand being submerged in seawater to extreme depths.
The Straightpoint load pins are typically connected to the handheld plus device or can be supplied in a huge array of output formats to include mV/V, RS-422, RS-485, utilizing the ASCII, MODBUS TRU and CAN-BUS protocols or an analogue output such as 4-20mA for PLC integration, The Load Pins are also supplied with 10 meter cable as standard, however it is possible to get lengths available up to 1500 meters depending on output format.
