Billet Aluminum alloy 2024 hex rods are precision CNC machined and gun drilled to reduce unsprung weight while maintaining high strength and stiffness. Our exclusive 360 degree Rotating Clamp design allows for easy access to quickly and precisely locking in your desired alignment settings. Blue Anodized Titanium hardware shaves even more unsprung weight from the arms and offers superior strength.FK Bearings Rod Ends are manufactured in Connecticut and JMX hardened high misalignment rod ends are used for superior strength and maximum articulation on the spindle connection. They feature a Teflon liner to provide quiet operation, low friction, smooth articulation and eliminates bushing deflection under load. The PTFE liner is chemically bonded to the inner diameter of the race. The liner offers a very high load carrying capacity and has greatly increased dynamic wear characteristics. My aggressive chewer had it roughed up in about 10 minutes, and she lost interest.
Both of my dogs were interested in these right away and started playing with them as soon as I gave them to them. After the first day though, they lost interest. They’ve had them for a couple of weeks now and I can’t really get them to go back to them. These aren’t squeaky toys, which is usually what they prefer, so that may be part of it. The size is decent and works for both of my dogs. My smaller dog isn’t much of an aggressive chewer, but she did chew on it some. My bigger dog is an aggressive chewer (about 85 lbs), and she had this one roughed up pretty quickly. After about 10 minutes, it already had some sharp, jagged edges. That makes me a little concerned about safety since it could scratch her mouth. As far as chew resistance and durability, it didn’t hold up the way I expected for something advertised for aggressive chewers. For value, it’s not the best considering how quickly it wore down and the lack of continued interest from my dogs.

Durable, Fun, soft enough to not break teeth
Finally found a quality toy that our 75lb Black Mouth Cur hasn't destroyed in 5 minutes! In fact it's been a few months now. There are teeth marks, but she hasn't been able to take a chunk out of it yet. It even has some bounce to it when you toss it. And she finds it fun. Veterinary dentists recommend toys that are soft enough that you can leave a fingernail print in for toys that are less likely to break teeth, unlike bones and antlers. This is that toy! (My other dog broke both of her upper 3 rooted premolars on a Nylabone - healthy roots but the slab fracture exposed the pulp and had to be removed. Healthy roots are more difficult to remove. Dentists say those and antlers are money makers. 😭)
