Cartier Tank Must de Cartier Ref. 2414 – A Sterling Classic in Grand Taille

An elegant embodiment of late 20th-century Cartier style, the Tank Must de Cartier Ref. 2414 stands as a refined tribute to the Maison’s enduring legacy. Rendered in sterling silver and presented in the rare large GM (Grand Modèle) size, this timepiece delivers timeless Parisian design with a bold wrist presence. With its radiant white dial adorned by striking blue Roman numerals, the Ref. 2414 is a testament to Cartier's ability to balance tradition with flair.

A Dial of Purity and Precision

At the core of this Tank Must beats a minimalist yet captivating white lacquered dial—flawless and unblemished—highlighted by deep blue Roman numerals that radiate across the rectangular expanse with classical elegance. This striking contrast, a Cartier hallmark, enhances both legibility and sophistication, while the traditional chemin de fer minute track encircles the design in subtle precision.

Blue sword-shaped hands glide with crisp definition, perfectly echoing the original blue sapphire cabochon crown, which adds a touch of vibrancy and regality to the silhouette.

Protected by the original mineral glass, the dial remains as pristine as it was at the time of its creation—an untouched canvas of Cartier artistry.

Sterling Silver Craftsmanship in Large Format

Unlike its more commonly seen mid-sized siblings, this Ref. 2414 is presented in the rarer and more sought-after Grand Modèle size, measuring 25mm x 33mm. The case, crafted in solid 925 sterling silver, offers a weighty elegance and a gentle warmth on the wrist, preserving the iconic lines and art deco silhouette of the Tank collection.

The watch retains its original Cartier leather strap and stainless steel deployant clasp, both signed, completing the watch’s period-correct aesthetic and functionality.

Quartz Precision – Cartier Calibre 687

Inside, the Cartier Calibre 687 quartz movement ensures reliable, hassle-free timekeeping. Recently serviced by our specialist watchmaker, the movement performs flawlessly and is accompanied by a one-year mechanical guarantee, offering modern-day peace of mind within a vintage frame.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fantastic writing and non-stop action
Format: Kindle
This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.
