On Real Gone, Tom Waits walks a fraying tightrope. By utterly eliminating one of the cornerstone elements of his sound - keyboards - he has also removed his safety net. With songwriting and production partner Kathleen Brennan, he strips away almost everything conventional from these songs, taking them down to the essences of skeletal rhythms, blasted and guttural blues, razor-cut rural folk music, and the rusty-edge poetry and craft of songwriting itself. Real Gone is like two records in one and the contrasting emotions of each play off of each other perfectly. The up tempo tracks are some of the rawest and most kinetic he's ever laid down, while the ballads are among his most haunting and beautiful, even chilling at times. Taken as a whole, the experience is breathtaking. Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan have personally remixed and remastered Real Gone from the original master tapes bringing a new sonic brilliance to their 2004 creation.

It feels very good on the skin.

I’ve been using this sunscreen for about a week now, and honestly, I’ve liked it even more than I expected. The skin on my face feels much softer and healthier, and one thing I’ve definitely noticed is that my dark circles are gradually looking a bit lighter and less tired. I love it because it doesn’t feel heavy, absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy residue.
I also like that it works well under makeup or just on its own for everyday use. For now, I’m giving it 4 stars because I haven’t been using it for very long yet and want to see more results, but so far, I definitely feel a difference in my skin. If I continue to see more positive changes, I’ll come back to update my review.

Works for me, feels gentle, a few trade offs versus this brands spf 100

I just got this yesterday so I’ve used it for half the day yesterday and half the day today so far. I think its much more moisturizing and heavy then say a standard Korean sunscreen which is what i usually use. I also have used this brands spf 100 lotion which i love. This one feels nice, very similar to the spf 100 but doesnt burn my eyes. It’s a bit harder to rub in then their spf 100, a bit thicker but its a bit less oily. It feels gentle to me, i have sensitive skin, eczema, and acne and i like it so far. I have to rub it in twice though, first to apply then again to break up the settled stuff around my nose and eyes. If you have a lot of lines in your face this might not be a good fit, id go for the spf 100 from la roche-posay. But the trade off is this one is less oily, and the other is more oily. This one is fine around my eyes, the other can burn. So it’s up to you really.
