Knitting Factory Records reissues Fela Kuti's V.I.P. on vinyl LP, previously only available as part of the Box Set series. V.I.P. (Vagabonds In Power) was recorded live at the Berlin Jazz Festival in autumn 1978 and released the following year. It is a ferocious and lyrically exalted attack on the abuse of state power. The festival straddled the cusp of the break-up of Afrika 70 and the formation of Egypt 80 in spring 1979, and V.I.P. (Vagabonds In Power) was the last album Fela made with the drummer Tony Allen, who had been with him since 1964 and acted as Afrika 70's bandleader. The audio has been restored and remastered from Fela's original Nigerian recordings. The artwork has been meticulously recreated from original album artwork.

Not tough enough

It might be tough, but my 26 pound dog managed to rip it open in record time! The only good thing, the squeaker is a long plastic one and easier to grab before she can swallow it!

Cute and tough!

This toy has been the subject of much squeaking and death shakes... And more than one tug o' war... And other than looking a little dingy even after washing it's as good as new! No missing bits, no noticeable damage. I have several in the brand, both the larger version for my mastiff, and other styles for the medium-sized dogs. I started buying online because the one store that carries it moved further away. Outshines all other brands I've tried for durability and fun play. In 5years and 9 dogs only 2 have needed replacement. Worth the price!!!

Great toy
Color: Black/Orange
This brand really makes durable toys. They outlast every other toy my dogs have. One dog loves to get the squeaker out of any toy, but he doesn’t rip this one apart. Obviously it won’t last forever, but no toy does! Some other brands of toys only make it a day or two, while these last months to years.
