The stories recorded in this book represent years and years of research that have been spent tracking down the details of these convictsÕ lives. Most of these stories were first shared in October 2012 on the Genies Down Under podcast; a podcast that focuses on family history research with an Australian twist (http://www.geniesdownunder.com.au/).
The convicts in this book came from England and Ireland. They are all very different characters with rich lives both in their homelands and in their new home, Australia. There are six male convicts and one female convict featured in the pages of this book.
