This book contains miscellaneous land records, such as caveats, procession, and deeds of gift.
Slave records are included - containing sales and gifts. Also included is a rare bond allowing a slave to have a firearm. Although not a lot of records exist for Bute County, this is another nice collection of what is preserved in the State Archives. Also added are some misc. mill records from the CRX collection.
