With built in TVS, voltage spikes are no longer a concern. By focusing on thermal dissipation from the ground up, the ESC achieves excellent power to weight density without the need of heavy heat sinks.
A close collaboration with AM32 allowed us to squeeze the last bit of performance without breaking the bank.
The TBS Lucid 16S 120A Rawdog ESC is the stripped-down, bare-bones version of our 200A version. Same internals, same performance DNA — just without the heatsink and capacitors.

Important notes:
- Remember to add your own capacitors. We recommend 470uF x 3 at 100V. The ESC will run up to 120A out of the box, but the moment you add your own heatsink you unlock the full potential of the underlying hardware.
- Remember to wire up the GND connection of your signal wire back to the FC. At high voltages, this is required.
