The motor heatsink clips right onto your RC vehicle's motor, and features multiple cooling fins for added heat-dissipating surface area. We have different motor heatsink styles (top mount, side-mount, etc.) and single or dual cooling fan models available in multiple anodized colors. This heatsink is for the 540-size brushed motors only. IMPORTANT FAN VOLTAGE NOTE: All heatsink cooling fans, unless specified otherwise, are designed to be powered by DC voltage only between 5.0V and no more than 6.0V MAXIMUM! If you choose to power our cooling fans with voltage exceeding 6.0V you are doing so at your own risk! Please make sure that your power source (battery pack, receiver, etc.) is able to supply consistent voltage no lower than 5.0V and no higher than 6.0V. If powering from an ESC, check with the ESC manufacturer to make sure if your ESC is capable of providing enough auxiliary power to handle the added load of extra cooling fans; some ESCs that have built-in fans may not be able to reliably power any additional cooling fans. Perfectly Fine and Inexpensive
This off-brand filter was $10 cheaper than the local auto store, nearly $20 cheaper than the dealership, and meets the original OEM requirements. My husband is an ASE certified master technician and does all of our car maintenance and repair work himself and purchasing this filter rather than getting the filter from the dealership or the local auto store saved us a good bit of money and it is the same quality. Just make sure that the OEM number is correct for your vehicle and you have nothing to worry about.
