The Dutch thrash outfit, flirting with death and black metal, unleashes their seventh milestone Slaves of the Shadow Realm. This monster resembles a colossal, smooth and blackened monolith. Four years after the much-praised Ravenous Plague, the shredding four piece returns with "fifth band member" / producer Andy Classen and presents an album that merges the unadulterated fury of the early LOTD years with the sophistication of a veteran band. "Nocturnal Commando" is a typical old school rager, whereas the brilliant "Slaves of the Southern Cross" is reminiscent of the band's stoic groovy band classic "Into the Eye of the Storm" before erupting into ballistic melody infusions. The perfectly balanced "Dark Coronation" closes an amazingly varied and at the same time catchy beast of an album.

I love matcha for the health benefits! This has the taste that goes along with it. Yes it has sugar in it, but I’m fine with that. I don’t drink it every single day and I also mix with another organic one to cut the sugars in half. I like that it’s barista friendly and this brand doesn’t make my stomach hurt, as some have back in the beginning when I first tried matcha. It gives me the energy and focus I need without the crash.

Smooth and Convenient Matcha Latte Mix

I’ve been trying to make matcha lattes at home more often, so I decided to try the Jade Leaf Matcha Latte Mix. Overall, I’ve been really happy with it.
The powder mixes easily with both hot and cold milk, and it dissolves fairly well with a small whisk or milk frother. The flavor is smooth with a balanced sweetness, which makes it easy to drink without needing to add extra sugar.
I like that it’s convenient for quick drinks. When I don’t have time to measure multiple ingredients, I can just add a scoop, mix it with milk, and it’s ready in a minute or two. It works well for both hot matcha lattes and iced versions.
The container is also a good size, so it lasts quite a while even if you make matcha regularly. The matcha flavor still comes through nicely without being too bitter.

Makes the Best Cold Matcha Drinks

I got the barista matcha latte because I heard it blends well in cold drinks. I made a lavender cream matcha with it more than once now & each one was so delicious. I liked it better than Starbucks Iced Lavender Cream Matcha and not as sweet as theirs imo. I plan to try making more drinks with it in the future when I purchase it again.
