George Frideric Handel's op. 4 was published in London as the Six Concertos for the Organ and Harpsichord: also for Violins, Hautboys and other instruments. Although the harpsichord is named in the title, these concertos are regarded as proven organ concertos - certainly because Handel himself performed all of them on the organ as instrumental intermezzi in his oratorios. Since the organ used was a keyboard instrument with one manual but without a pedal unit, the idea to transfer the solo part to today's piano should have been obvious all along. And, behold, so it is: Johann Sebastian Bach's harpsichord concertos quite naturally form part of every world-class pianist's repertoire, and the same rule must apply to Handel.

Explains It Very Well
"The Sacred Romance" describes the way that our relationship with God is SUPPOSED to be, and then discusses the hardships that hinder the ideal relationship with Him. The authors use down-to-earth stories and compare them to God's love, allowing readers to gain a new perspective on God.
I cannot say that I truly understand God's love completely, because there is no way that any human could fully comprehend it. However, after reading this book, I can say that I think I understand God's love a little more.
This book is an excellent read, and I would recommend it to anyone who would like to have a closer relationship with God.

A Must Read For Anyone!
Rarely have I come across an author more succinct, simple to read and real than John Eldredge. The book left me longing for more - in a good way. I wanted God to love me. I wanted to go to Eternal Life so I can be reunited with Him and just bask in His love for me. It challenges your thinking - as all good writing should. I loved it. I own 5 copies. "I don't know... when I see one I just have to buy it... to feel normal." ~Conspiracy Theory. But I have read it, so I'm not an ex-government spook, reconditioned by drugs and brainwashing on the MK-Ultra Plan or anything. You must buy this book. They are watching.
(I am giving copies to all my kids to read when they get a little older.)
