PEN HOLDER SLIDES THROUGH ARC -- A World's First. The pen holder slides through an arc to any angle you need, and then quickly locks in place. Simply tighten the brass thumbscrew. You get an infinite number of pen angles to let you reach places that no other scriber can reach.
This pen arm can be swiveled (rotated) and can slide through an arc to any "angle of attack" -- and this does not change plumb or change your scribe setting. Now you can reach and scribe difficult areas like saddles, scarfs, receivers, and around knots and burls. Arc can be changed on the fly without a tool. The scriber stays plumb!
RUGGED -- CNC milled from solid aluminum stock, brass, and stainless steel; designed and built for professional use. Precision engineering and manufacturing in the USA.
Great for scribing log staircases, log trusses, and more. (In general, two Arc Arms are not required for scribing wall logs, but they can be useful if scribing burls, etc).
One Arc Arm comes with one Fisher Space Pen refill, one permanent pen tube and cap, tool kit, and spare Nylatron washers.

The body of your scriber is engraved with its model number -- either "V.1" or "V.2"
The Arc Arm easily replaces the straight pen holder arm of any V.2 scriber. Installs on your V.2 scriber in about 10 seconds -- no tools required.
PENS -- Note that this Arc Arm comes with one new Pen Tube and cap (not shown in the video or some of the photos, sorry). The strong, stainless steel pen tube is a permanent part of your scriber. The new stainless steel pen tube is strong, and also makes it easier, faster (and much cheaper!) to replace dead pens.
