June Jasmine is named for Jestha, the Nepali month of June, when jasmine blossoms come into full bloom across the hills. It starts with a smooth, high-altitude whole-leaf green tea from Ilam, Nepal, which we blend in the USA with real jasmine blossoms and dried orange peel. The result is a pale gold cup layered with dried jasmine, citron, and wildflower honey, opening into gardenia and honeysuckle aromatics. Unlike heavily perfumed jasmine teas, it stays floral and fragrant with no soapy aftertaste.
