ACT spring retainers utilize wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to provide spring support, reduce stress concentrations, and increase strength and reliability. I got the twelve inch handle. It is too short and does not flex enough to release ball in right direction. Its almost impossible to aim and doesn't sent the ball far enough.

Great toy my dog loves!

My dachshund, Winston, loves these balls because they squeak and of coarse it’s a ball. Only thing is he is destructive and the squeaker doesn’t last long but by far his favorite toy.

Balls need to squeak out of the box

The squeaky ball lights up the faces of my dog shelter furiends, they love to fetch and chew the ball to make it squeaky. I have been buying these balls for about a year now. They don’t last long with some of the dogs, but the joy is worth the price.
Lately some of the balls do not squeak right out of the box but many of the balls are fine. Returning the box doesn’t make sense because I used some already so I thought I would comment, dropping one star so far.
