After his impressive 1972 debut, JD Souther worked with Chris Hillman (Byrds, Flying Burrito Brothers) and Richie Furay (Buffalo Springfield, Poco) in the short lived Souther/Hillman/Furay Band. But, at that same time, his songwriting reputation grew, as friends and colleagues took his material to commercial heights. Beautifully helmed by Peter Asher, 1976 sophomore effort, Black Rose is not only full of incredible songs, but a who's who of musicians including Lowell George (Little Feat), Joe Walsh, Waddy Wachtel, Jim Keltner, Andrew Gold, Russ Kunkel, Donald Byrd, and Stanley Clarke - with David Crosby, Art Garfunkel, Don Henley and Glenn Frey contributing vocals. In addition to the lush production and instrumentation, Souther's songwriting here is exceptional.

Super dog bed

This review is from my dog Beau, “I love my new bed. It’s cushy and fits my 15 pounds of fluff and fur beautifully. I can stretch out and sleep on my back if I want. I really appreciate that it didn’t have any funky chemical smell when it arrived. My mom ordered the sand color to match my fur. She says it looks just like the picture. It’s really soft and comfortable, I won’t leave it long enough for her to wash it. She had to order a second one for the kitchen so she could finally wash the original. By the way, it washed perfectly and didn’t shrink an inch. “
