Using a play on the Icelandic words for "suburbs" and "introvert" for it's title, Innhverfi is the debut solo album from Sigur Ros' and Jonsi's touring keyboard player/percussionist Obo - in his passport it says Olafur Bjorn Olafsson - and although comprised of no more than seven compositions, it does run the gamut of suburban bliss turned upside-down: After the LP's minimalistic opener "Uthverfi," a track that melancholically opens up after a long, immensely dark and brooding intro, that ultimately offers some respite in the form of playful glockenspiel over layers of slow-moving sonic lava, the equally cinematic "Svartur galdur" leaves much room for Obo's trademark baritone: like a bespectacled puppeteer with fluffy hair, he seems to shuffle and rearrange home-recorded bits and lullaby-like DIY pieces in front of our very eyes, which can't help but follow, as we move deeper into the somewhat forlorn suburban landscape that has inspired this record. Imagine dark, wet streets, overcast little alleys, and suddenly a cat or a candle on a windowsill, breathing slowly. Elsewhere, "Gjallarhornin" - all spoken words, piano, strings, vibraphone, rearranged like a whirlwind in slow-motion - makes way for a hopeful oomph deferred and silent-movie era melodies, while "Stilla," an instrumental, commences like early Efterklang, but there's no gaudiness on the horizon: When the subtle electronics and percussions erupt in the end, it all feels just right - if only for a brief moment. Finally, the subdued birdsong and jazz-inspired piano of "Fyrirbodi" underline that Olafsson has worked on motion picture soundtracks in the past, and before it all ends, he even throws in a foot-stompin' alt-pop song of sorts. The last stop on this journey into the haunting underbelly of the suburban mind is "Gullregn": A creaking door that opens to unveil his own garden of forking paths, a place where one can still decide, shake things up, jump the fence and run, leave before it's too late. It's pure possibility, presented in a golden light. Although Innhverfi is his debut effort as a solo artist, Obo's musical handwriting has been all over the Icelandic map in recent years: A multi-instrumentalist and a wizard on percussions, he studied piano and later composition in various European cities and has performed and recorded with artists such as Sigur Ros, Jonsi, Emiliana Torrini, Storsveit Nix Noltes, slowblow, Benni Hemm Hemm, mom, Johann Johannsson, Ulfur Hansson and Valgeir Sigurdsson, to name a few. Though few will be able to understand the lyrics in his native Icelandic, one thing is certain: Innhverfi is the very antidote to the affliction and troubles it sketches out.

Ok, but don’t use hand cream

I like the case for its ability to house the keyboard, the pencil and the iPad in one convenient place. I find that the magnetic closure and magnets holding the keyboard are not as strong as a previous case I had purchased. The keyboard is great, I like the touchpad and the backlight colors. The cover material is not hand lotion friendly! I’ve tried water and lens cleaning wipes, and neither gets this cover clean. I hesitate to use any chemicals because the material is the type that will get sticky and nasty, and I don’t like that. I’ve included a photo of what the cover looks like after using a lens cleaning wipe. If the magnets were stronger and the cover material easier to clean, I would buy again.

great case!

pros; the color is beautiful. I picked the navy blue. It is exactly as the description described. It goes very well with my blue iPad. The size is very precise and fits perfectly on my iPad. The magnet that holds the case together is very strong. The iPad itself can pivot vertically and horizontally using that magnet. This works very smooth. The magnet closure for the case itself is strong and holds well. The magnet that holds the keyboard in place also works very well. Cons; when the keyboard is in its correct position, it is difficult to angle the iPad in front into the provided grooves. The keyboard gets into the way. This prevents the iPad from reaching the grooves provided. The keyboard feels very light and cheap.
The keyboard itself connected with the Bluetooth very easily. It works wonderful. I love the back light on the keyboard. The color of the keyboard is wonderful. However, as I said above, it does feel a bit cheap. But for 20 bucks, what can you ask for.
When the case is folded together with the keyboard in the iPad, it is a bit bulky. But I knew that from the previous reviews and was expecting it.
What I love most about this case is that the iPad can be removed using the magnet on the back from the keyboard portion, but it is still protected by the exterior plastic case. So in situations where I don’t need to use my keyboard, I can remove the iPad itself and know that it’s still protected overall I recommend this product.

Nice Case & Keyboard

Love this case with a keyboard. I like using the keyboard vs using one on the screen of iPad. And the keyboard has rechargeable batteries instead of having to buy batteries. And it protects my iPad.

Beautiful, and everything I want it except that the keyboard keys didn’t work😭

I searched and search for the right keyboard case for me. The most important thing for me was to be able to remove the iPad case itself from the whole case and keyboard, and this one was it. Unfortunately, when I started checking the keyboard a lot of The keys were not output in the correct symbol or letters. So defeats the whole purpose of having a keyboard. I returned it and asked for a replacement, thinking that the item was defected, but when I got the New replacement, it was the same thing so I tried to contact the seller, but there was no option to do that. Therefore, I had to return the second replacement keyboard and look for another keyboard cover.
