He had stayed on in "paradise"-Texas-from 1827 to 1861, when his opposition to secession took him to California. The Evolution of a State is his story of these "old Texas days." A blacksmith and a tobacco smuggler, Noah Smithwick made weapons for the Battle of Concepci n, and he fought in that battle. With Hensley's company, he chased the Mexican army south of the Rio Grande after the Battle of San Jacinto. Twice he served with the Texas Rangers. In quieter times, he was a postmaster and justice of the peace in little Webber's Prairie. Eyewitness to so much Texas history, Smithwick recounts his life and adventures in a simple, straightforward style, with a wry sense of humor. His keen memory for detail-what the people wore, what they ate, how they worked and played- vividly evokes the sights, sounds, and smells of the frontier. Great for a growing kid

Good quality for a good price. My teen is outgrowing his medium clothes and into larges so it fit slightly big which I expected but that just means he should be able to wear it to his fall dance as well. Nice material, not see through at all even after dancing all night and sweating. Exact color blue as pictured. Very happy over all.

Great shirt for the price.

Shirt fit perfectly and was true to size. The material seems to be of a good quality for the price, and it is surprisingly light weight when worn. I use these as daily shirts, and have only used it once so far. Did well after washing and required little to no ironing out of the dryer. Very impressed with the item so far.

Perfect for my teenage son.

My son has worn this shirt many times to temple for bar mitzvah services. It’s soft doesn’t wrinkle easily and very comfortable for him to wear. He receives many compliments on it. This is a relatively thin shirt sizing was accurate. Fabric is what I would consider Nice quality. Color is spot on.

Surprising quality for such a cheap item

Surprisingly good fit. The material is a bit thin and if you're wearing it on a cold day, I would recommend an undershirt. The collars could use a good starching for a more modern look. As it stands with an open jacket, the large collar makes it look a little dated. If you have 20 dollars and need a shirt you could certainly do worse.
