POD – DangerBoy LE 2 Knee Brace

The DangerBoy LE 2 Knee Brace celebrates Haiden Deegan’s rise as one of the sport’s most explosive young racers — a rider who pushes limits and backs it up with championships in Supercross, Motocross, and SMX. Finished with signature DangerBoy graphics and built on POD’s proven K4 platform, this brace represents the riders who charge hard, take risks, and want gear that does more than just protect — it stands for something.

The LE 2 is powered by POD’s medically certified protection system, using a patented Human Motion hinge that mimics the natural movement of the knee instead of fighting it. Synthetic Ligament technology made from ultra-strong Vectran fibers helps control hyperextension, twisting forces, and sudden impacts without locking your leg into a stiff, uncomfortable brace. Lightweight frames, adaptive cuffs, and quick-loc straps give it the feel of a piece of performance gear, not medical equipment.

Why We Like It

It feels like a brace built for real riding, not the doctor’s office. The hinge moves naturally when gripping the bike, standing in attack position, or dabbing a foot in a rut, and the support ramps up only when you need it. The DangerBoy look ties it directly to one of the most exciting riders in the sport, so it protects your knees while showing off a little attitude.

Why It’ll Work for You

This brace is designed to protect your knee without taking away how you naturally move on the bike. The hinge follows your leg instead of forcing it into a stiff position, so you can stand, grip the bike, sit in corners, and put a foot out without feeling locked in.

The synthetic ligaments help control the twisting and over-extension that cause most knee injuries, so if you land awkwardly, catch a rut, or tip over, the brace is there to absorb the strain instead of your knee. It gives you solid support when things go wrong, but stays flexible and comfortable when you’re just riding.

Really snug, but not uncomfortable
Size: Large, Color: Black
I don't know why these were so much tighter than all the other UA socks I've bought over the years. Not uncomfortable, just really tight when putting them on.

Leg part is TIGHT
Size: X-Large, Color: Black
I am a size 15, and the foot portion is comfortable enough, but the fit of the leg portion is so exceedingly tight that I can't wear them for long, which makes them worthless. I would return them if I didn't already toss the packaging.

Post-COVID Sock Hunt: Finally a Win
Size: Medium, Color: (001) Black / Black / White
Ever since COVID, I haven’t been able to find a pair of socks that hold up for more than a few months. Brands like UA, Adidas, and others seem to have cut corners—likely in response to inflation—by downgrading materials and labor rather than raising prices. The result? Socks that wear thin, rip easily, or lose shape fast. These, however, have been a pleasant surprise. I’ve been wearing them for a few weeks and so far, they’re holding strong. You can tell some cost-saving measures were still made—certain areas feel slightly thinner—but overall, the construction is solid. A key win: they stay on. These are ankle socks (not “no-shows”), and they hug the ankle securely. That’s a huge plus in a world where most post-COVID no-shows slide off halfway through the day. We may never get back to the pre-COVID quality standards without paying a premium, but for now, these are a reliable choice. Ratings: • No slipping: 10/10 • Price: 7/10 • Durability (so far): No pilling or loose threads — promising start.
