This book charts the history of the Society over the first 100 years. You will read about the members and the venues, the shows and special events, the unique trophies and the widely-respected Memel magazine, the advent of the Junior section and many MML celebrities such as Johnny Hart - the first winner of the Magic Circle Young Magician of the Year competition, won again in its 50th golden year by member Ben Proos. The author, Roger Woods, currently Chairman, has been a member of the Society for over 40 years and was President in 2016 for the fourth time having acted as Secretary, Concert Secretary and Librarian at various times over the years. He has won numerous awards for his writing on magic-related themes.
