With dialogue and essay, Kristeva analyzes our "incredible need to believe"--the inexorable push toward faith that, for Kristeva, lies at the heart of the psyche and the history of society. Examining the lives, theories, and convictions of Saint Teresa of Avila, Sigmund Freud, Donald Winnicott, Hannah Arendt, and other individuals, she investigates the intersection between the desire for God and the shadowy zone in which belief resides. Kristeva suggests that human beings are formed by their need to believe, beginning with our first attempts at speech and following through to our adolescent search for identity and meaning. Kristeva then applies her insight to contemporary religious clashes and the plight of immigrant populations, especially those of Islamic origin. Even if we no longer have faith in God, Kristeva argues, we must believe in human destiny and creative possibility. Used to be great, now not so much

**update** TOP NOTCH customer service. Seller messaged me very quickly after the 3 star review and was very concerned that their product wasn't as expected - made it right for me and I will definitely give them another try!
I have purchased these several times, and at first I would have given a 5 star. I love the way the come individually wrapped and they use to come with a protective film on it. They still come individually wrapped, and no protective film now. Only 1 side sublimates very well (great colors). The 2nd side is duller and it's noticeable. I will be looking for a new supplier unfortunately. I wish that I could say I still loved them, but something changed!

Great wind spinners, you can't go wrong

5 stars is not enough for these. OMG I found my new supplier for the wind spinners. I have gone through four other suppliers and they did not turn out well, for various reasons. But these I love for a couple of reasons. First I love that they have the paper on them for removing the plastic, holy cow was that easy! Second I love how they turn out for the ones I already made. They sublimate beautifully and the colors really pop. Thanks so much, and I'm going to order more right now! I hope you don't change them. I do recommend these folks, they are awesome.

got these to make some spinners for our football team and found them to be terrific. The image transfer was true to color and the size was perfect. We are going to make a few as gifts for our friends and thought the pressing of the tines out to create the spinner was quite simple. Will definitely be ordering more.
