The reverse of the brooch houses a glazed locket compartment, originally intended to hold a photo or lock of hair. With a pin and "C" catch fitting. Unmarked, tested as 15ct gold.
The brooch measures approximately 40 x 34mm.
The approximate weight is 15.6 grams.

CONDITION: In very good antique condition. With some light wear commensurate with age including some abrasions to the pearls, but with no loss to the enamel. The pin and catch function perfectly. The locket back can be removed by hand.
