To understand the progression of religious freedom in America, it is necessary to review the Constitutions of the original thirteen States, together with the Colonial Charters that preceded them, i.e.: VIRGINIA CHARTER OF KING JAMES I, 1606 ..".propagating of Christian Religion to such People as yet live in Darkness..." DELAWARE CHARTER OF KING ADOLPHUS, 1626 ..".further propagation of the Holy Gospel..." MASSACHUSETTS CONSTITUTION, 1780, Part 1, Article 3 "Every denomination of Christians...shall be equally under the protection of the law and no subordination of any one sect or denomination to another shall ever be established..." PENNSYLVANIA CONSTITUTION, 1968, Article 1, Section 3 "All men have a natural and indefeasible right to worship Almighty God according to the dictates of their own consciences..." NORTH CAROLINA CONSTITUTION, 1971, Article 11, Section 4 "Beneficent provision for the poor, the unfortunate, and the orphan is one of the first duties of a civilized and a Christian state..." Examining Charters, Constitutions, Court Decisions and Correspondence, this overview of history is intended as a study help for those interested in discovering the role religion played in America's original thirteen States. The process of how the Federal Courts removed religion from States' jurisdiction, most notably in the 1947 Everson v. Pug Loves His Bed

Great bed. I thought it might be too big for our pug but it is just right so he can choose whether he wants to be inside or outside of the little canopy. He didn’t go under for the first couple of months but now he loves going under the canopy especially on cold days.

Squishy and comfy
Very well made bed. Had I known about Amazon Basics brand sooner, I would have gotten two of these earlier. The other bed I purchased was a Snoozer XL and it arrived in a super compact state; the filler was even compressed and is therefore not as squishy and comfy as this Amazon Basics bed. The dog pictured is about 41 lbs, so it's perfect for her size (my other dog is a 70 lb pittie and he also fits on the bed).The 'hood' does detach, whereas the Snoozer one is permanently attached. Having the hood detach for washing the cover was another plus for this bed. The zippers are heavy duty and the 'sheepskin' is soft (I haven't washed the cover yet, so I don't know if it will pill). This bed arrived ready to use out of the box (very basic packaging); the filler was not compressed, so the bed is definitely more fluffy. This is the XL size and it is smaller than the Snoozer XL size but fits the corner of my room better. This is definitely worth the money.

I regret my purchase

A few things: 1) this bed is much smaller than you think. Even if you measure it the way it’s constructed makes the area under the flap super small.
2) my dogs, burrow under blankets, covers, everything. But they don’t burrow under this. It’s designed to be appealing to humans, but dogs don’t care for it.
3) you probably already read this another reviews, but the flap doesn’t really stay up at all. That wouldn’t be a problem for my dogs, but it may be for yours.
My recommendation – don’t buy this. It’s a gimmick. They make others with larger areas under the flap that are more expensive, but it’s worth the money instead of wasting it on this.

My high energy dogs favorite puzzle!
Bought this to keep my high energy dog busy. He has many puzzles but this one seems to be his favorite, a lot of them he wasn’t very interested in and would get bored and give up quickly. This will keep him entertained for about 10-15 minutes and is a fun thing for him to do as an apartment dog that needs enrichment in the middle of the day! Love how cute it is, especially during football season, we will give this to him while we watch a game so that he can enjoy the game with us lol

Great toy for dogs or cats

Both my dog and cat love this treat finding toy. Dog (husky) can work it very quickly- the doors slide a bit too easily for him but the cat also successfully hunts up his treats as well. The quality seems nice and despite their use, still looks brand new.
