The rabbit is the fourth animal in the 12-year cycle of the Chinese zodiac To honour the Year of the Rabbit 2023, our whisky creator Dr Bill Lumsden personally selected this silky, limited release. From whisky distilled in 1999, also a rabbit year, he first chose a delicate, fruity, Glenmorangie aged in bespoke bourbon casks. Dr Bill then married that whisky with single malt long finished in Oloroso sherry casks, for a floral finesse. Contained within just 888 bottles, his creation layers complex aromas of carnation and jasmine with tastes of butter candy and soft peach. A delicious tribute to the rabbit’s gentleness.
