This practical, hands-on workshop is designed to help you build confidence and skills when sewing with stretch.

Working with jersey and knit fabrics is easier than it looks - once you know a few essential techniques. In this workshop, we’ll guide you through the best ways to handle stretch fabrics, from choosing the right needles, elastics, and stabilising tapes to mastering machine settings and seam finishes.

Then in the afternoon you will put into practice what you learn in the morning and make up a the Snug Classic T shirt from our Mechanicals Loungewear range. This is a great foundation piece and fabulous for layering with many of our other sewing patterns – and you'll leave with a set of skills that’ll open up a whole new world of stretch sewing.
