Vinyl LP pressing. April 2016, Canadian singer Mélissa Laveaux heads to Haiti, her parents' homeland. 20 years have gone by since she last stepped foot there. Here she is today, still a stranger to a country that is very much an intricatepart of her identity. She discovers an extraordinary heritage: the folk songs that have bred and nourished Haitians artists for decades. Returning from Haiti with sounds, melodies, moods andstories of distant times, upon which Mélissa built the musical backbone to Radyo Siwèl. A re-interpretation, sometimes from scraps, sometimes from a few phrasesin a book, from traditional tunes to vaudou anthems, sewn together like a patchwork of intersecting identities. Draping them in her indie rock aesthetic, percussive and sinuous guitars, Mélissa's voice booms and unfurls to give the music it's distinct sound. The overall result benefitting from the surreal halo that the jacks-of-all-trade A. L. B. E. R. T. studio achieved to make way for these dark or light meditations, enriched by the notable shining presence of Drew Gonsalves, leading man and songwriter of Trinidadian band Kobo Town, on guitar and quattro. Mélissa then reimagines a past, that can only serve to open up a future of new possibilities. A fairytale still looking for it's happy ending. Starting at the roots, she chose the branches and leaves of the stories she best knew how to tell - piecing together an odd tree. It yields the little hog plums which endemic to Haiti, "siwèl" in creole.

Rolls up easily

I purchased these bands after seeing all the positive reviews on Amazon. I like the color options and the variety of resistance bands, however the quality is not that great. Bands are thin and they roll up easily. I’ve used them both on bare skin (which I googled was not recommended because it irritates skin) and on top of leggings and both times the bands roll up. The bag it comes with is also very small and I basically have to roll up the bands to squeeze all of them in there. If you are a beginner at using bands, I think this product is alright. For more advanced workouts, would recommend better quality resistance bands.

A complete gym in your pocket.

Simple but effective. I'm able to pack these into almost anywhere and use them as a mini gym wherever I go. With a little creativity, they can be used to add resistance to almost any exercise. I use them for stretches, face pulls, bicep curls, and even with squats. 5 different resistance levels means you can mix and match to find the perfect resistance for whatever you're doing. I've had mine a couple of months now and have noticed no difference in elasticity or resistance, and I use them almost every day. Would definitely recommend as a portable resistance device and would definitely buy again.

A lot of comfort for a very inexpensive price

We needed a spare mattress, but didn’t want to have a dedicated spare bedroom but wanted a comfortable bed. Couldn’t afford these high priced mattresses these days like the air beds or luxury coil spring with gel which are thousands of dollars. Miss air mattresses, very comfortable and adorable and I like the flocked top on it. And it has the self inflatable pump which is very easy and inconvenient.This makes a very inexpensive alternative. Even if it only lasts 6 months or so you can buy a whole lot of these for a lot less money than thousands of dollars for the other beds. In tax is a wonderful brand. I’ve bought it many times. Their vinyl material is very thick and durable. Intex makes flotation devices, blowup rafts, beach floaties, Kayaks, etc.
They have an excellent product & know what they’re doing.
