Going Solo is the empowering and uplifting story of one woman's choice to become a single mother. 'I hope this story gives hope to anyone who wants children and to anyone who finds themselves single. Not to follow this path necessarily, but to remember that there are always many options.' Aged thirty-seven, single and having experienced two miscarriages, Genevieve Roberts found out that her fertility levels were dwlindling. On hearing this news, she made the courageous decision to embark on motherhood solo and eventually became pregnant using a sperm donor. Genevieve describes her initial fear of the prospect of birth without a partner, and the trepidation she felt towards all the responsibility she has taken on. She recounts all the milestones of pregnancy and motherhood that most women share with their partner -- going to NCT classes alone, taking part in birthing workshops with her sister-in-law, her amazement that two people in her pregnancy yoga class are following the same path as her. But ultimately what triumphs is Genevieve's excitement at meeting her daughter. She recalls the first months of parenthood, navigating the love, worry and tiredness of life with a newborn without a partner. She describes the beautiful simplicity of the relationship between herself and her daughter, as she gets to know Astrid without having to consider a partner. Going Solo is for anyone whose life has taken an unexpected twist; for people who are interested in modern families and for those who want to take control of their life and follow their dreams of parenthood. It celebrates the fulfilment that comes from following what makes you happy, and reminds us that beauty may be found when life offers a surprise or a deviation from convention.Binding Type: Paperback

Surprisingly great—no more kitchen odors!
Size: 140 Count (Pack of 1)
I honestly didn't think I’d be this impressed by trash bags, but these have been a total game-changer for my kitchen.
The Gain Lavender scent is subtle but does a great job of masking that typical "trash smell," and the bags themselves are super strong. The ForceFlex material actually lives up to the name—they stretch without ripping, so I don't have to worry about them breaking on the way to the bin. It sounds silly, but it’s made such a difference in keeping the kitchen cleaner and stress-free. Definitely worth the buy!

Strong and reliable for everyday use
Size: 140 Count (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using these trash bags and I’m honestly impressed. They are very strong and don’t tear easily, even when they’re full or holding heavier items. I like that they have a good capacity and fit perfectly in my kitchen trash can.
They also help prevent leaks and bad odors, which is a big plus. I’ve used them for daily trash as well as bigger clean-ups, and they’ve held up really well every time.
Definitely a reliable option if you’re looking for durability and quality. I would buy them again

I’ve been really impressed with the Glad ForceFlex Tall Kitchen Trash Bags. The durability is definitely noticeable, they hold up well even with heavier trash and don’t tear easily. The ForceFlex feature really makes a difference because the bags stretch instead of ripping. The Gain Lavender scent is also a huge plus, it actually smells fresh and helps keep the kitchen from smelling like garbage. Overall, they’re strong, reliable, and make taking out the trash a lot less unpleasant.

Great scent and convenient design – good everyday trash bags
Size: 40 Count (Pack of 1), Size: 40 Count (Pack of 1)
These were the perfect size for my tall kitchen trash can and fit really well without slipping. The lavender scent is fresh and noticeable without being overpowering, which I really like.
One of my favorite features is how easy it is to pull out the next bag. It makes changing the trash quick and simple, which is super convenient for everyday use.
The bags are white but still do a good job of covering what’s inside, so they offer a decent amount of privacy.
They weren’t quite as strong as I expected, especially with heavier loads, but they still held up well enough for regular household trash.
Pros:
• Fresh, pleasant scent
• Perfect fit for tall kitchen cans
• Easy to pull out and use the next bag
• Good coverage for privacy
Cons:
• Not as strong as expected for heavier trash
Overall, I think these are a great value for the price and I would buy them again.
