The GEL-CUMULUS 22 running shoe is a recommended choice for neutral runners who want a soft, flexible everyday trainer with a great fit. This update features a one-piece upper mesh that's combined with a seamless 3D print construction, which balances support and comfort around the foot — giving you an excellent fit right out of the box. The FLYTEFOAM technology midsole is softer than the previous version to promote a pillowy ride. Under heel where the foot first hits the ground has been redesigned to better isolate impact. This new heel design has deeper forefoot flex grooves and a softer midsole foam to give you a soft ride. A hard-wearing AHAR rubber outsole compound has been placed in key contact areas to help the GEL-CUMULUS 22 shoe stand up to a ton of miles.

3D Print Upper - Increases forefoot support and comfort
ASICS energetic foam formulation that provides supreme bounce thanks to a unique elastomer compound.
Attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.
AHAR Outsole - acronym for ASICS High Abrasion Rubber. Placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability.
ASICS high abrasion resistant (AHAR) rubber on the outsole that is softer and lighter to deliver a plush ride, flexibility and overall comfort.
FlyteFoam technology provides exceptional bounce back and responsiveness no matter the distance, utilizing organic super fibers to help reduce packing out that traditionally happens with softer, low density foams.
Vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency.

I really wanted to like this pillow but I didn't, My son did.

I bought two of these Medium pillows for summer camp that my son and I went to this year. Let me start by saying the only reason I don't like it is because its too soft and small for me. By soft I mean the pillow bottoms out when I put my head on it. I measured and it is 4" thick but when I put my head on it, it almost disappears. They could add 20-25% more stuffing and it would be great. My son liked his, I didn't even bring mine. What I did do is stuff a standard size memory foam pillow in the stuff sack and used that! The quality of this pillow is great, the seams were not torn or coming undone like some people said, no rips or stains. the zippier works just fine and IT IS MEMORY FOAM, people who complain that it's not are expecting a brick of foam which this isn't, it is shredded/torn memory foam filling that is exactly like my $60 memory foam pillows that I use on my bed. TLDR its great for kids, not for people with bowling balls for heads like me. WISE OWL, ADD MORE FILLING ! I was able to stuff a pillow 3x the size of this one in the same bag.

So, I recommend if you want to really firm pillow, you had better put it right in the pillowcase when you get it, because you might not be able to stuff it in if you wait 72 hours! By the way, this pillowcase has absolutely zero smell, so don't bother your sleepy head about that.
