Godspeed You! Black Emperor (GYBE) returns with it's first single LP-length release since the group's earliest days in 1997-99. Asunder, Sweet And Other Distress clocks in at a succinct 40:23 and is arguably the most focused and best-sounding recording of the band's career. Following Godspeed's return from a long hiatus at the end of 2010 to begin playing live shows again, and with the hugely acclaimed 'Allelujah! Don't Bend! Ascend! Release in 2012 marking their first new release in a decade, the group slowly and steadily put the new album together through late 2013 and 2014. This mighty slab of superlative sonics is shot through with all the band's inimitable signposts and touchstones: huge unison riffage, savage noise/drone, oscillating overtones, guitar vs. String counterpoint, inexorable crescendos and scorched-earth transitions. 'Asunder, Sweet And Other Distress' finds Godspeed in top form; a sterling celebration of the band's awesome dialectic, where composition, emotion and 'note-choice' is inextricable from an exacting focus on tone, timbre, resonance and the sheer materiality of sound.

I am hopeful this new version of Pocket Hose is better built than earlier versions!
I have not had great luck with earlier versions of Pocket Hose products! I have had leaks, hose blowout holes, leaks at the facet connector and sprayer difficulty! BUT, I wanted to give the new Copper Head Hose a try. I like all the new features and feel they have made good enhancements to the hose quality! I have had the new hose for a week or so and it appears to be of better quality than previous versions. The hose is working great and I am hopeful it will last longer than the last ones. However the product is expensive and this will be my last purchase of Pocket Hose if I have ANY issues in the future. I will update my review in the future!

love the pockets hose!!!

I usually don't do reviews but the pocket hose is so great I had to . It works so well, flexible , not heavy or cumbersome to move about as it curls back to water spigot when water turned off after using!!! Fun to watch I want to throw all my other hoses out !! I am elderly and this is so light and easy for me to use. I first saw as an add on TV and was skeptical! So happy I gave it a try!! We now have2 -5oft and 1 -75 ft.
Try it you'll like it !! I promise!!

Not as durable as advertised.
This hose is not as durable as advertised. First time I used it and didn't work. The hose itself was slit or had some other issue with the band inside because water leaked through the hose and did not reach the nozzle.
Update: I wrote to the manufacturer of the hose, Pocket Hose, regarding the defective hose. On May 30, 2026, they agreed to replace my hose under their warranty. On June 2, 2026, I received an email from them stating they recently updated their warranty policy to 30 days, and my notice was outside their 30-day warranty period. I then received an email from the seller of the hose, Bulb Head offering me a full refund on the hose. Something the manufacturer would not do. All I wanted was a replacement. I am changing my rating for the seller to 5 Stars for standing behind the sale of their product. Thank you, Bulb Head!

Great hose
Style: Regular, Size: 150 FT
I love these hoses. Length:I have a 50’ for the front yard and 150’ hose for the backyard. Nozzle is perfect for watering flowers, garden or great for washing the car. Flexible: Lightweight and so easy to move around. Turn off the water at the house and let it drain out the nozzle. Doesn’t take long to drain and return to original length. Durability is excellent. Connectivity is so easy.

Great product until it split
We bought the pocket hose 100’ copperhead expandable garden hose through Amazon from Bulbhead April 2025. We love the fact that it is light, retracts, doesn’t kink and came with a versatile nozzle. However, 13 months later, the hose split overnight, leaking an unknown amount of water to the street and eliminating water pressure in our house. Once we found the leak, we contacted the company. We were told there was a 30 day warranty and that our product was no longer covered. I’m not sure what product would break down in 30 days! I was asked if I could be compensated at all and they said no, there are discounts on the website. I will never buy this product through this company again as their customer service is lacking. Nothing was offered as a personal discount for their defective product.
