The Panzer II was widely used in early campaigns of WWII such as the invasion of Poland, the Low Countries and France. The main armament of most Panzer II variants was the 2cm Kw.K30 L/55 cannon and a coaxial MG34, although the main gun was ineffective in the anti-tank role. One interesting conversion of the Panzer II was to use it as an artillery observation vehicle (Beobachtungswagen). The armament was retained, and its most obvious external recognition feature was the fitting of a frame antenna on the rear deck. These Pz.Beob.Wg vehicles were successfully used in the target acquisition and artillery fire observation roles primarily with self-propelled gun units.

Dragon’s Panzer II family has now admitted a new 1/35 scale kit of such a Pz.Beob.Wg.II. For extreme versatility, the model features all the necessary elements to create such an artillery observation vehicle. This kit may be small, but it’s simply exploding with fine detail. Of course, the distinctive frame antenna is brand new. Furthermore, the 2cm cannon is slide molded and possesses a hollow muzzle. For added convenience, the kit comes with Magic Tracks. This kit provides everything you need to create an accurate Panzer II Ausf.A-C artillery observation tank. It’s observably a brilliant kit!

Excellent choice for long oil change intervals.
Size: 1 Quart, Pack of 6
I'm a former dealership mechanic and for years I used whatever we had in the bulk tank which was usually Valvoline conventional. My last job was at a German car dealership. Castrol was the oil recommended by the German manufacturers and that's when I started using Castrol. In my experience Castrol is an excellent oil. My 2014 Ford just rolled over 242,000 miles and even with factory 10,000 mile oil change intervals, from what I can see through the oil fill the top end of the engine is still clean. I've never had to remove the valve cover. It's using about a quart between oil 10,000 mile oil changes which is great because when it was new it used about a 1/2 quart between changes.
