Limited 200gm vinyl LP pressing. Song lyric sheet included. Newly mastered by Jason Mitchell at Loud Mastering from tapes approved by Andy Partridge. Wasp Star, the band's final album (to date), employed far more of the intricately arranged, guitar driven, XTC sound which Dave Gregory had helped to develop from his point of arrival with 1979's Drums & Wires. While not as strikingly different as Apple Venus Vol. I, it was intended as the 'other part' of that album and writing sessions and was subtitled Apple Venus Vol. II. The songwriting had matured immeasurably from the band's 1977 White Music debut, but the early promise of an innovative, fresh, approach to the possibilities of pop songwriting and recording inherent in that debut had been carried through every album of the band's career with Wasp Star merely the latest, possibly last, instalment.

Super Comfortable and Soft
Color: White, Size: Throw Size - 50" X 60"
Feels luxurious and silky soft! It is not very thick but does keep me very warm. In fact I have to kick my legs out sometimes when I’m using it. It does shed A LOT! Will need to update after washing to see if that reduces the shedding. But it is beautiful and comfy. Is give it a 7 out of 10 for quality because of the shedding and the top and underneath pieces are only secured on the edges, which makes it move around and I have to grab the edges and shake to get its form back to normal. I would definitely purchase again. Especially if the shedding reduces it goes away after I run it through a wash cycle. I do NOT recommend drying in the dryer. It will mat I can almost guarantee that. Almost all blankets like these do if you dry them in a dryer with heat. Maybe no heat tumble might work, but NO heat.
