Literally hundreds of thousand of plants have been given botanical names. Of this huge number very few have English names, and these have become established more by use than by anything else. Thus, there has long been a need for a comprehensive guide to plant nomenclature and the standard classification system in the plant world. This is that book. Here is the first compact dictionary that combines definitions of botanical names in general usage, with information on their derivation and guides to pronunciation. For the vast number of horticulturalists, gardeners, and plant lovers interested in the origin and derivation of plant names, this book will be an invaluable reference. Generic and specific names are listed in alphabetical order, and for each name the author, a noted botanical expert, identifies the root words in Greek and Latin, gives the accepted definition derived from them, and indicates the preferred English pronunciation. In numerous instances he offers interesting historical information or anecdotes about plants and their introduction to gardens. An especially useful feature of this work is a monumental index, which provides a cross-reference from some 1,800 common plant names to corresponding botanical ones. For the specialist, the thoroughness and authoritativeness of this book make it an indispensable resource. The layperson will appreciate its convenience, usefulness, and reliability in identifying and classifying plants, as well as its abundance of interesting facts and lore -- all leavened with touches of humor.

Must have item for dogs!!!
Size: Medium (Pack of 1), Color: Pink
The puppy kong is a must have item for every new puppy owner. Super cute!! They usually will last forever (unless you have a super chewer then you need the black one). Great value!! Keeps the puppy busy and entertained. Especially when frozen. Google and the Kong website have tons of recipes. I tend to stick with a little bit of kibble some mashed banana and peanut butter. Also, good options are jars or pouches of baby food just make sure you check the label to ensure there is nothing toxic to dogs in it. More options are kibble soaked in water or broth, pumpkin puree, green beans and carrots. I could go on forever. If you own a dog, a Kong is a must have! I always have two ready to go. And they are dishwasher safe!

Keeps her occupied!
Size: Extra Small (Pack of 1), Color: Pink
It works very well when sruffed with a healthy, soft treat. It keeps our little teething scamp busy for a while and stops her from chewing on household items including her humans!

Teeny Tiny Terrific Toy
Size: Extra Small (Pack of 1), Color: Pink
Perfect for a mini puppy! So teeny tiny; it cracks me up looking at it!! However, my little dog (10 week old Cavapoo) absolutely loves playing with it! It’s her fav! You can stuff 2-5 tiny treats in it to keep puppy occupied and focused.

Must have for a young puppy
Size: Small (Pack of 1), Color: Blue
Very helpful for our young puppy. Cleaning it isn't the easiest, but cleaning advice is easily found online and it's worth the hassle to have a durable lasting toy around

A favorite for my boys!
Color: Hambone Super Chewer, Size: M/L
My dogs love this toy, it satisfied their need to rip up a toy and still allowed them to play long after the top layer was torn apart to enjoy! It bounces well and has still held up with my chewers, this is still one of my dogs favorite toys to play fetch with!
