Powerbase MultiGas 300 is a heavy duty reinforced gas barrier membrane incorporating a strong aluminium foil barrier layer encapsulated between 2 layers of LDPE and a reinforced scrim protecting against methane, radon & carbon dioxide.
Powerbase is a range of geosynthetic barrier membranes for protection against naturally occurring hazardous gases and soils contaminated with hydrocarbons or toxic industrial pollutants. They are also used for groundwater and environmental protection installations.
Methane, radon and CO2 are naturally occurring gases which can be harmful in high concentrations. Radon is commonly found over granite formations whereas methane and carbon dioxide are produced as a result of the decomposition of organic matter such as made ground or natural deposits such as coal, peat or silt. Where these are present, Powerbase Multigas Barriers Membranes provide effective protection. They are suitable for sites requiring NHBC Green, Amber 1 and Amber 2 gas protection measures.
