Derived from the ancient Greek concept of Areté, meaning excellence or virtue, the front of the coin proudly features the word "Areté," encapsulating the essence of the coin. The Heroic Compass is pointed up, in the direction of Wisdom, a nod to "know the ultimate game and how to play it well". On the reverse side, the Heroic Virtues are artfully engraved, providing a visual representation of the Heroic virtues that guide individuals on their hero's journey of flourishing via eudaimonia.
