Penultimate Press present the second full length release by the acclaimed French inventor, instrument builder, musician, visual artist, researcher and writer Jacques Brodier. Following up the 2012 release Filtre de Réalité, Xhos de Villemahu expands Brodier's vision tenfold with two LP's worth of inexplicable audio recorded between 2009-2016. Operating from Le Havre, France since the 1970s, Jacques Brodier has created a uniquely personal vision that incorporates music, writings, paintings and drawings. Over the years he has amassed a large amount of material in all of these fields. The music he conjures from his self-built instrument, the Filtre de Réalité (Filter of Reality), harnesses the energies found in shortwave radio, harmonic strings, sensors, sheet metal and rotating glass spheres of sand. The resulting audio shatters time and space with voices of the deep past slamming up against a fantastic present. Frequencies dance in a whirl of frenzied excitement whilst elements of a cosmic science fiction leave a trail of neon lit bewilderment. A vast amount of writings, painting and drawings support the enormous world Brodier has constructed over the years. Xhos de Villemahu is an attempt to capture this substantial and significant world view into a complete package. Xhos de Villemahu arrives as a deluxe double LP in a gloss gatefold sleeve featuring two large artworks by Brodier and a substantial booklet of images, essays and texts written by Brodier for the occasion, along with a download card for the entire release. Utterly unique in vision and scope, Xhos de Villemahu is absolutely an experience unlike any other.

🐔 Best chikum toy, my puppers love it.
We have two small dogs and they both love this chicken. We are on our 2nd one, it's not indestructible, but built tough and they love all the squeakers. 1st one lasted a little over 2 months, which is a long time for a beloved toy to hold up in this house. I too love this chicken, I mean just look at its funny expression. It's fun to watch these two play with it and I chuckle when I find it in different parts of the house with a startled expression on its face. It seems to say, how did I get here?! What's happening?!

Best dog toys ever. They outlast and are more appealing to my dogs than those that guarantee long life.
We have been buying goDog products from our veterinarian. It takes, literally, years for the dogs to kill them completely. The big toys, such as the chicken, die faster, but even the little mutt loves it. Now the good part: half the price of our veterinarian. Not that I don't want to support them, but $27 bucks for a chicken doomed to die at some point, seems ridiculous. Some of the small sizes are already 4 years old, but the chicken doesn't come in small. Even when they worked at it until the squeaker was dead, the rest of the chicken survived more than a year of constant dragging and tugging. It washed up very good, but we did have to occasionally stitch up larger holes to prevent washing machine loss of stuffing.

My dogs love this
My dogs love this stinking toy. I’m about to buy another one though bc they are tearing it up. But overall they are pretty rough with it and suckle on it. I didn’t think this would be such a hit for them but I’m ok with repurchasing it for the amount of love they have for this!

Almost worked!
I have an EXTREMELY destructive Boston Terrier. She loves playing with her toys, but she loves destroying them even more. "Chicken" was her Christmas present and she loved him. She did pull his eyes off right away, fortunately she didn't swallow them, but I was excited that she couldn't immediately shred him. Then she found his weak spot. She managed to grab hold of the tag and tore the seam, and now she just plays with Chicken's torn up husk. He lasted 3 days, which was longer than any other stuffed animal. I would purchase again, but I would cut the tag as short as I could before giving it to her. It was a good run, but I'm still looking for a soft you she can't destroy!

My 18 lb dog had this torn apart in MINUTES
You are going to read this review and think "my dog will be different" just as I did reading some of the poor reviews. I was bamboozled by this product thinking that there must be something special about it and I was poorly mistaken. First off my dog did love this toy right out of the box. Secondly she had it destroyed in mere MINUTES! I was truly stunned. If you feel you must still purchase this stuffed toy after reading my review please find one by this company that is on sale, do NOT pay full price. She had the trim chewed off, a wing off, the squeakers out within 15 min and I am not exaggerating. There was stuffing EVERYWHERE. Was it kind of amusing? Yes. Was I disappointed in the "chew guard" technology? Absolutely. Be warned! If your dog destroys stuffed animals this one will be no different!!
