AMACO Underglaze Velvet LilacLilac Velvet Underglaze is a soft plum color, light at cone 05, and warmer and deeper at cone 5. Color will begin to burn out at cone 10. A clear glaze over Lilac will accentuate the color at cone 05 and 5, and burn out much of the color at cone 10. ___________ Saturated color, dependability, and versatility make Velvets as popular for professionals as they are for children. Velvets fire true to color as a Cone 05 06 underglaze or fired to Cone 6.

Amaco Velvet Underglazes an be easily applied to wet clay, greenware, or mature Cone 04 bisque (1971F / 1077C).

Try two finish possibilities: When left unglazed these colours have the rich textural appearance of velvet; when covered with AMACO Clear Transparent Matte or Clear Gloss they intensify in color.
