Highlights

  • Provides 2 to 8 stops of light control
  • Thin profile ring - 9mm
  • Wider outer optic to help reduce vignetting at wide angles
  • Made with high quality optical glass using Tiffen's ColorCore(TM) technology

The Tiffen variable ND filter is a unique and flexible tool, affording you the convenience of using several neutral density filters in one Neutral density filters reduce the amount of light going through the lens into your camera. By reducing the light you are able to achieve the following: Allows the use of slow shutter speeds, with high speed films or digital cameras, to record movement/image blur in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds or any fast moving subject. Gives you full control over your depth of field. You are able to decrease depth of field by using wider apertures, which helps separate subjects from their background (subject matter in focus while your background is blurred). Allows you to shoot high speed film (above ISO 400) in bright outdoor situations by reducing effective ISO. Enables cine and video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such as snow, sand or other bright scenes which could cause overexposure Primarily used for controlling depth of field and exposure, the variable ND is easy to use, small, lightweight, and does not require additional accessories. Neutral density filters reduce the amount of light going through the lens into your camera. By reducing the light you are able to use of slow shutter speeds, with high speed films or digital cameras, to record movement/image blur in subjects such as waterfalls or any fast moving subject. It also gives you full control over your depth of field. The Tiffen variable ND filter operates on the same principle as a circular polarizer - rotate until you reach your desired effect and shoot. It allows you to have continuous control over the amount of light coming through your lens in an approximate range of 2 (ND 0.6) to 8 (ND 2.4) stops - while maintaining the integrity of your image.

Soft "cooling" case.
Yes it is very cool when you lay on it. It doesn't stay cold though. Within a minute or 2 to whatever your temp is.

Great for hair and skin. Great buy.
These pillow cases are great for my hair and skin. They look good, hold up well in the washer and dryer, and the price is great. They are cooling. Of course I wish they could be more cooling, but honestly I'm not sure that's even possible. Great pillow cases. Already bought more for other heads. Would buy again.

Hot hot hot. Side sleepers will hate it
At first touch, these are the coldest pillowcases I own … but only for seconds. Once you actually lay on them, within seconds they adjust to your body temp, the heat feels trapped, my head begins to feel hotter than before I laid down - which has in turn caused me loathe these pillow cases. I hate that I have missed the return window. Would never buy again, would never recommend. My satin ones aren’t even this hot! I gave them the good ole 30-day try. Side sleepers - if you are like me and sleep on your side with arm tucked under pillow - flipping this pillow over in hopes of a cold side - forget it, it’s already hot from your arm.

Nice but dissapointing
So it sometimes stays cool but if it’s under a blanket and you have your body on it at all it will get warm but the spots you don’t use will get cool sometimes. I am very disappointed in the material though because it’s like my dry skin scratched the pillow case all over which makes me question it and I don’t think I would buy again.
