Aguirre Records present Sleepline, a crucial album by vaporwave pioneer Ramona Vektroid, here released under the moniker New Dreams Ltd. Ramona is widely recognized as instigator of the vaporwave genre with her celebrated album Floral Shoppe (2011). Vektroid (Ramona Xavier) is an electronic musician and artist based in Portland, but her reputation has hinged almost entirely on her hypertextual virtual presence. While she's most often pigeonholed as being a primary artist behind vaporwave - a net-based microgenre notorious for it's wholesale appropriations and meme-like propagation - she has been releasing music since 2006 in a variety of styles and under a dizzying array of nom de plumes, from Vektordrum and Macintosh Plus to Laserdisc Visions and ?????VIRTUAL. Within the sprawling, obsessive vaporwave community, Vektroid's 2011 album Floral Shoppe (as Macintosh Plus) has become canonized as it's most representative transmission, an unlikely feat for a style of music that challenged not only our taste profiles, but also what could be considered "art" to begin with. But like most styles of music, what's on paper never aligns perfectly with the actual music, and Vektroid is a shining example of an artist whose talents extend beyond the regurgitated checklists of a now concretized genre. Two of her strongest albums, though, served as beautiful outliers that continue to resist easy categorization. Sleepline (released as New Dreams Ltd.), plays in the liminal space between states of consciousness, inducing a hazy, deteriorating quality that stands in contrast to Shader Complete's mostly hi-definition aesthetics (ZORN 057CD/LP). It was written in winter 2013-2014, but it didn't see an official release until 2016. Originally conceived as a Sacred Tapestry sequel called Transcontinent, the album saw Xavier returning to her plunderphonic tactics, looping and down-pitching what sounds like decades-old Japanese commercials. This time, Xavier sought out source material that would more readily fall under fair use, attempting to bridge the aesthetic gap between her works by foregrounding her editing techniques as much as transforming the source material. Not even close to "virtually indestructible" as described.
Within an hour of receiving this K9 Chew Stick, our 55lb Staffordshire Terrier began chewing pieces off the top of toy. Initially, we were happy to see that our dog enjoyed the chew toy, and it appeared to be durable. For the high cost of this toy, it is very disappointing that pieces can start coming off that quickly. Luckily, our dog wasn't swallowing the pieces, which can easily lodge in their intestines. If your dog is NOT an aggressive/determined chewer or they are happy with chewing for very short periods of time, this toy might be okay for them.

Brilliant Ball
This is my dog, Sunnie, favorite toy besides a mostly flat basketball. The toy has some weight to it, but it isn’t too heavy for her (she’s a husky mix, maybe 25lbs and is 6-months old). The ball is the perfect size for medium and large dogs, has a lot of bounce, and is easy for Sunnie to pick up with her mouth because the open holes. The quality is good, worth more than it costs. It’s easy to clean. I’d buy many more, but this ball seems like it’ll last a lifetime.

Almost indestructible would recommend
I have owned the Monster K9 Indestructible Ball for one and a half years, and it has proven to be the most durable ball I have used for my German Shepherd. Out of all the balls we have tried, this one has lasted the longest under frequent, heavy chewing. Although my dog has finally managed to chew through it, I remain very satisfied with the product’s overall longevity and performance.
I would definitely recommend purchasing this ball to other dog owners, especially those with strong chewers. It has provided exceptional play value over an extended period of time.
One area for improvement is the warranty process. While the product advertising mentions a free replacement, there is no clear guidance on how to submit a claim, and I found it difficult to locate that information. Providing straightforward instructions for warranty claims would enhance the overall customer experience.
Overall, this is a high-quality, long-lasting ball that I would recommend, particularly for large or powerful dogs.
