The result: Rotary-Wing Aerodynamics, a clear, concise introduction, highly recommended by U.S. Army experts, that provides students of helicopter and aeronautical engineering with an understanding of the aerodynamic phenomena of the rotor. In addition, it furnishes the tools for quantitative evaluation of both rotor performance and the helicopter as a whole. Now both volumes of the original have been reprinted together in this inexpensive Dover edition.In Volume I: "Basic Theories of Rotor Aerodynamics," the concept of rotary-wing aircraft in general is defined, followed by comparison of the energy effectiveness of helicopters with that of other static-thrust generators in hover, as well as with various air and ground vehicles in forward translation. Volume II: "Performance Prediction of Helicopters" offers practical application of the rotary-wing aerodynamic theories discussed in Volume I, and contains complete and detailed performance calculations for conventional single-rotor, winged, and tandem-rotor helicopters.

Works well, long use on single charge, high torque - be careful when starting

Not the most inexpensive powered whisker bur I've used other Typhor products and found them reliable for the task designed. I fell they don't cheap out on the rechargeable battery so I don't fell they will catch fire, as we are hearing about from other cheaper rechargeable items. I liked 2 things about this model the speed control is by a pressure single switch which I can control, not just pick speed 1,2,3. The swappable tips allow for different uses. I don't drink coffee but use the item to whisk eggs for an omelets and it has the torque to mix them without effort. In Fact need to only use half power else it will splatter out of my mixing vessel.

Powerful!

This thing is powerful and works great! I was hesitant about some of the negative reviews, but this is worth it so far. I use it every day and haven't charged it in the week that I've had it. Some people complained about turning it off.... It's not that hard. Just hold the button down for a second or two and it shuts off, no fuss. If you tap/press the button you'll cycle through the next speed and then off. I only use the first speed to make my protein shake and matcha. I feel like the high speed would just whip everything to pure foam! I'm hoping this lasts me a long time.
