When she asked her teacher about it, it was confirmed as true. The next morning, Jennifer's father accompanied her to school, careful to "assert himself as an informed and concerned parent and not simply a big, black, dangerous man in a first-grade classroom." This was the first of many skirmishes in Jennifer's childhood-long struggle to define herself as "the black girl next door" while living out her parents' dreams. Success for her was being the smartest and achieving the most, with the consequence that much of her girlhood did not seem like her own but more like the "family project." Always in my purse!
Size: 0.5 Ounce (Pack of 1), Style: SPF 50 Stick
I have been really happy with this sunscreen stick. I was hesitant to try it because I read several reviews saying it left a white cast and felt greasy, but that has not been my experience at all.
I have dry, acne prone skin, and this glides on easily without feeling heavy or oily. It actually gives my skin a healthy glow rather than looking greasy. Best of all, it has not caused any breakouts.
I also use it on my 6 year old daughter, and it works great for her sensitive skin as well. The stick format makes application quick and easy, especially when we are out and about.
The tube is on the smaller side, but the price is lower than many mineral sunscreen sticks, so I think it is a fair trade off. Overall, this has been a great sunscreen for both me and my daughter, and I will definitely repurchase.

Ease of use, no white cast

This is by far the best sunscreen I’ve ever used. I was looking for a non greasy sunscreen for my face and this is it. The fact that it can be used directly from the container on to your face (rolls up and down like deodorant) makes it so easy to use. It has no white cast and doesn’t clog up my pores. I highly recommend this product and will continue to purchase.

Smaller than expected

Works well and easy to use but is very small. I thought it was the size of a short deodorant stick but it’s way smaller. It is a good size if you just want to stick in your purse or bag but for the price I thought I was getting more.
